This privacy policy explains how Aayush Insights (aayushinsights.github.io) handles your information. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and what we do collect stays on your device.

1. What Data We Collect

Aayush Insights is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not run any backend servers or databases.

• No registration required — you never need to create an account
• No cookies — we do not set tracking or advertising cookies
• No personal data collected — we do not collect your name, email or location automatically
• Contact form — if you submit the contact form, your message is processed by Formspree. See their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy

2. How Our Tools Work

All tools on this site run entirely in your browser. This means:

• Files you upload (images, PDFs) are processed locally and never sent to our servers
• Text you enter in tools stays in your browser tab
• The Notes App stores notes in your browser's localStorage — only you can access them
• No tool data is transmitted to Aayush Insights

3. Third-Party Services

Some tools use free third-party APIs for specific features:

• Currency Converter — uses open.er-api.com for live rates (no personal data sent)
• IP Lookup — uses ipapi.co (your IP is sent to their service by design)
• Background Remover — uses remove.bg API (you provide your own key; images are sent to remove.bg)
• QR Code Generator — uses api.qrserver.com (your text is sent to generate the QR)
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN

4. GitHub Pages Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect basic server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) as part of their infrastructure. See GitHub's privacy policy at docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-privacy-statement for details.

5. Analytics

This site currently does not use any analytics service. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated and a privacy-first tool will be used.

6. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
